I like painting these guys out of order.
I wanted my Exterminator to be the point man scout tank.
Because you have to be nuts to be a point man this crew is known as the "Crazy Eights".
If you look closely under the turret you can see I added lift points so he can be airlifted into spots normally unreachable.
Since he tends to operate forward from the main group I added advanced comms super detailed with 24 gauge wire.
I also did away with the storage chest and modeled a supercharger to the two exhausts.
Just for fluff purposes and the rule of cool.
I also gave him an H/K missile to deal with any heavy surprises.
This tank is also going to get a special commander for the turret.

Another fantastic vehicle!
The weathering on these tanks is amazingly well done! And I love all the little 'real' details you have added, it really gives the tank a personality
Absolutely gorgeous - love the weathering effects you've done, they really turn the tank into something special. Keep up the great work!
Ooops...
Okay, only just found your blog (thanks GunGrave!) and love it already... self confessed tread head!
love your scheme. Sometimes I wish I didn't have a tallarn army just so that I could have a go at more rusting like on your vehicles...
oink
Also, great first impression from me... such a dope! lol
Great I make great use out of AK Interactive products.
They make some for desert vehicles the DAK weathering kit.
DAK is the german arfican korps tanks that I am guessing yours are painted like being Tallarn.
They also have sets for Panzer Grey,Dark Green, and Nato Camo
Looks amazing. I'm curious about the rule of cool though.

Rule of cool
If it looks good it does not matter if it is game legal.
Case in point, there is no option for supercharger on the Russ.
No rules for scout tank.
But I thought it would be cool if the pointman tank was kitted out to move in a hurry if need be.
Oh I like that a lot.
Very fitting for the way I play.
