Grey Knights Grand Master Mordrak and Friends

I kitbashed this model to represent Grand Master Mordrak.
Mordrak is a cool character because he is protected by the ghostly apparitions of his old squad.
I modeled three of them and painted them a metallic black with ghostly Green Aegis.
I discovered a new way to paint blades using my airbrush and after a few bad tries,I finally got the hang of it.

Grey Knights Inquisitor Lord Cortez

Still plugging away at the Knights, this time I decided to start working on the Inquisitors.
I have always loved this model another of the all-time sculpts.
Nothing fancy followed the box art for the most part except I used red for the  =][=

Next up will be Soloman Lok and Servo Skull Scribe

Grey Knights Librarian

I was going to use the guy from last post with the book as a Librarian.
But when looking at the codex there was a cool pic with the Termie Librarian painted as a Knight.
So I bought one yesterday and made subtle conversions to make him knightly.
I added a Stormbolter from the knight sprue and swords to the Librarians books making a killer Knight Banner and Shoulder Badge.

Emperor's Gift

After reading ADB's Grey Knight masterpiece,I felt compelled to work on a few Grey Knights loosely
based off the book.

Here are a Librarian,Techmarine, and Nemisis Knight
I used Alclad 2 to get that Holy Shine to the Armor

Merican Lancers 100 Megatons

May I present "Justus Extremis" the Merican Lancers Deathstrike Nuke.
I thought it was weird that Mericans didn't have nukes so I made one.
The Deathstrike kit has an awesome chassis and launch platform. It would make a great base for a support tank as well.(Something to file away for later)
Problem is when I saw the kits Big Missile cool as it was , it is more of a cruise missile.
I wanted a big fat nuke.
So I went online and bought a 1:72 V2 rocket, well to be honest I first bought a 1:48 scale one and it was too big.
But the 1:72 fits perfect, just clears the ground in a fully raised position.
I scratch built support cradle arms out of styrene L-beam and hex rod cut down to bolts.

A little camo net to break up the smoothness of the Missile and she is ready to make someone have a very bad day.

Merican Lancers Jeeps

I figured it was time to make the obligatory Tauros units.
For my army I dub them Jeeps.
I used camo net to give them an organic feel.

The only thing left to do is a couple of small details I missed and weather the tires with weathering powder
